Do you have vintage art, lighting, ceramics, glass or design objects that deserve a new home? We buy selected individual pieces and collections.
What we look for
We are interested in original, characterful objects with quality in their subject, form, material or craftsmanship. Both established and lesser-known artists and makers may be of interest.
- Original art, prints, lithographs, posters, sketches, paintings and sculpture.
- Vintage lamps and lighting, particularly Scandinavian and Italian twentieth-century design.
- Ceramics, stoneware and glass by relevant studios, artists and manufacturers.
- Furniture, mirrors, textiles and design objects with a distinct form, history or patina.
What matters to us
An object does not need to be flawless, but we must be able to assess its quality and condition. Patina and ordinary wear may be part of its character, while significant damage or repairs should be disclosed.
- Artist, designer, manufacturer or studio, if known.
- Age, origin, materials and any provenance.
- Condition, repairs, chips, cracks or other material issues.
- Dimensions, quantity and the object's location.
Send us a proposal
Start with a short description and several clear photographs. Show the complete object, signatures or labels and any damage. Include dimensions, location and what you already know about it.
We will reply if the object fits the Goder collection or if we need more information. We cannot guarantee a response or offer for every enquiry.
Assessment and purchase
An initial assessment based on photographs is non-binding and is not a certified valuation for insurance, inheritance or tax purposes. If we are interested, we agree the next step, price, payment and collection or delivery.
A purchase is only agreed once both parties have accepted the terms in writing.
